Hey Everyone,

Yes, I am on vacation! Sort of. The whole famdambly is here- all 36 siblings, spouses, nieces and nephews, etc for a reunion.

But I had to break away for a minute and tell you- My Publisher (Breathless Press) is having a short sale, on their entire Naughty Nursery Rhyme line!

You can pick up some great m/m romances for $1.00 off, including my own

Simon Carter has achieved unimaginable success and he owes it all to a man from his past whose scorn set fire to his ambition.

"It's Simple, Simon. You lack ambition."

Chase Garvin's jibe had sent Simon Carter on unexpected paths and brought him unimaginable success. No longer a penniless musician, the highly paid investment banker is going home for the first time in years. He plans to rest, relax, and spend a little time rubbing his ex-lover's nose in his success. A visit to the Renaissance Fair brings this not-quite-so-simple- Simon nose to nose with his past and somehow revenge doesn't seem quite so attractive.

Chase Garvin, Denver, Colorado's very own Pie Man, is still incredibly handsome. What's more, the more mature Chase is very appreciative of Simon's talents.

When the old attraction flares between them, Simon and the Pie Man get caught up in tasting the wares, and neither counts the pennies.

Welcome Draven St. James and Fused by Fire #mmromance #pridepromotions

Book Name: Fused by Fire

Author Name: Draven St. James

Cover Artist: Dar Albert

Michael prides himself on being the man that everyone can depend on until one of his firefighters is severely wounded on the job. Will he be allowed to process the situation alone? Not when a loud and persistent Simon Winters shows up on his doorstep. The man hasn't met a boundary he didn't skip across.

Simon has had the biggest crush on Lieutenant Firefighter Michael Donovan since the first day he saw him. Which just happened to be at an interview for a job to work as a firefighter. Before his desire to lick the gruff older man from head to toe affects his work, Simon transfers over to being a paramedic. Just when he's begun to build a life that doesn't include hot shower fantasies of Michael, the object of his angst is thrust into his path.

All too quickly, Simon begins to barrel through Michael's defenses and dig up the desires Michael has fought so hard to hide. As passions flare out of control, tragedies collide from every side. Michael's struggle to keep Simon at a distance starts to crumble beneath the weight of the secrets that Simon is hiding. Will Michael be able to protect Simon when he needs it the most or will he lose Simon forever?

Excerpt:

Michael stepped forward and grabbed Simon by his shoulders. “Why are you really here?” he snarled.
“Because you’ve locked yourself away?” Simon whispered and gazed at him with eyes filled with concern.
That look stabbed into Michael. “And you care why?”
“Because…” Simon shrugged, dislodging Michael’s hold, and then cupped Michael’s face with a trembling hand. “What happened wasn’t your fault, and you needed someone to come and shove that truth into your face.”
“You picked the short straw?” Michael hated that Simon’s hand on his cheek brought him more comfort than anything else had. Just like at the hospital.
Simon shook his head, and his gaze fell to Michael’s lips. His hand came down to brush against the edge of Michael’s bottom lip. A pink flush rose along Simon’s cheeks.
Michael felt that innocent touch like a jolt through his body. He tilted Simon’s face up, and the sensual invitation in his eyes shocked and inflamed him.
He didn’t have the energy to fight against what he wanted, and right now that was Simon. With a groan of defeat, he smashed his lips to Simon’s and took the sweet oblivion that Simon offered.

Crawling Into Bed With Rory Ni Coileain #authorinterview #mmromance

Crawling Into Bed With Rory Ni Coileain
And a Good Book

Important things first, are these sheets silk or cotton? Cotton. I tried silk once, but my cat thought they felt really good to dig her claws into. We shall draw a veil over the ensuing carnage. (Inflicted upon the sheets, not the cat.)

What are you wearing? My Dreamspinner Press “Gay Romance” t-shirt and hand-knit squirrel socks.

Dude! Squirrel socks? Can we see? What are we snacking on in bed while we read tonight? I gave up snacking in bed a long time ago. I couldn’t deal with the accusatory glares. I have yet to find a snack food my cat didn’t feel she was more entitled to than I was.

LMAO. I sympathize. My cat has no qualms about swiping the food right out of my hands. She carries it off to the foot of the bed and decides whether she really wants it or not while glaring at me. Moving on. If I open this nightstand drawer, what will I find? That’s a good question, I haven’t been able to get it open since I stuffed my battery-operated egg and its remote in there.

Aw. That's kind of sad. You want me to bust it open? No? Okay. Do you roll up in the blankets like a burrito, or kick the covers off during the night? I don’t get a chance to do either, as a rule. As soon as I’m under the blankets, the cat stakes out a position on top of them that prevents me from either rolling over or sticking a leg anywhere. (I think the term you’re searching for at this point is “pussy-whipped”….)

LOL. Can I put my cold feet on your calves to warm them up? Chances are my calves would chill your feet. I’m a Minnesotan. *winks*

*Shudder* You're welcome to put your feet on me to warm up if the situation is that dire. What are we reading? Finally stealing enough free time to finish Susan Mac Nicol’s Waiting for Rain, so I can get to Taxes and TARDIS, which has been staring at me accusingly for quite some time now. (points to self) Unrepentant geekgirl.

Crawl in Bed With Morticia Knight #authorinterview #mmromance #pridepromotions

Crawling Into Bed With (Morticia Knight)
And a Good Book

Important things first, are these sheets silk or cotton?
Flannel. I live in the Pacific Northwest.

What are you wearing?
Ahem. Predictably, flannel. But they’re men’s jammies, so they have that drafty front door in the bottoms.

What are we snacking on in bed while we read tonight?
Jalapeno Cheetos – yum! I can’t have chocolate until I finish my latest WIP. Then I get a Reese’s peanut butter cup. I’m like a Labrador that way - you can bribe me with treats. Please pass this along to my editor.

I'll be sure to tag her! If I open this nightstand drawer, what will I find?
Condoms from 1997. I might want to rethink those. Oh wait, I bet these breath mints are still good. *pops one in mouth then gags* Nope.

Do you roll up in the blankets like a burrito, or kick the covers off during the night?
Burrito, then weird scrunched up tutu, then I re-burrito in the morning after all my limbs have frozen.

Can I put my cold feet on your calves to warm them up?
Not unless you want me to drop kick you across the room.

What are we reading?
Secret Fire (Uniform Encounters 5)
Even though it’s part of a series, you can read it all on its own. Here’s a sample taste:
As soon as he rounded the corner to where he knew Daryl would be, he halted in shock. It resembled some sort of man nest. There were empty soda and beer cans strewn about, dirty clothes and underwear scattered on the floor, an empty pizza box and paper Chinese food containers—all in some weird semicircle around Daryl’s zonked out body on the couch. Before him on the coffee table were the remotes, a gaming controller and…
Is that a whisky bottle?
He gazed down at Daryl, heartbroken for him, for both of them. It was so silly. Why was he doing this? It was as though he was making himself suffer, as though he’d woken up the other morning, realized that he was unbelievably happy and had to piss all over it.
Like that first time at the park.
“Okay, big boy, let’s get you in bed.”
It was obvious there would be zero chance of having a decent conversation with him in his current state. He jostled Daryl’s shoulder and he didn’t budge. He shook him harder and he heard a grunt.
Fuck. How much did he drink?
He knew hard liquor wasn’t Daryl’s thing, so he must have been really beat up inside to want to opt for it. Finally, he managed to get a louder grunt out of him.
“Daryl. For real. Come on, you can’t stay out here on the couch all night.”
Zach tugged on his shirt, and Daryl performed his own version of sluggishly yanking it away.
“I fuckin’ do what I want.”
He’d growled it out, his speech slurred, his eyelids barely able to stay open.
Zach leaned over to pull Daryl up by hugging him and slipping his arms under Daryl’s.
“Of course you do. Now let’s get you to the bedroom so I can tuck you in.”
Daryl’s head lolled back and he squinted at Zach, frowning.
“Where you come from?”
“Ah, butchering the English language, I see. Now I know it’s serious. I came from outside. Come on, babe, help me out here.”
Zach tugged, but Daryl was like a fleshy bag of dead weight. Breathless, Zach plopped down next to him. Daryl kept frowning and staring at him as if he were one of Jacob Marley’s ghosts.
“Why, Zach? Why?”
It was Zach’s turn to frown.
“Why what?”
“I thought we haz somethin’ good here, somethin’…” He looked around the room then grabbed his head. He moaned. “Us, good with us.”
Zach took Daryl’s hand and held it sandwiched between his. There was so much agonizing pain on Daryl’s face. Touching him like that for the first time in almost a week brought him back to the place where he knew that Daryl’s touch was the only one meant for him.
“Daryl, it’s so much more than good, it’s the most amazing thing ever. I don’t know what’s going on with you right now, but you are wasted. Let’s go to bed and we can talk about it in the morning when you feel better.”

Fabulous New Review

Fabulous review from Scattered Thoughts!
for

Cold Feet

I just had to take a moment to share because I was so touched by this review! It really made my day!

"I love these characters, the series and the entire Pulp Friction 2014 grouping.  It’s compelling, gorgeously depicted and as wide ranging as the mountains themselves, and I can’t get enough of their lives and their stories."
